 When I first started drawing vector gems it was to teach myself how to create a gem. I was working on vector drawing my engagement ring for my wedding blog. Now I'm hooked on creating more gems in different shapes, sizes and color. Currently I'm working on this cute little project. I have to work on the color, but here's my progress thus far.

To make some money...

I've been advised to do commissions. Therefore, I shall open myself to art commissions. I think I shall start with people who would like a portrait of their OC characters. Maybe I can offer to do it in a traditional media. Most commissions (the ones that I'm thinking of doing) are done through a digital format. Quick and clean.

Thank you postcard/caricature

I'm working on postcards as a "thank you" to my fiance's sister for giving us an engagement photo shoot.
She loves "I Love Lucy", so I decided to create caricatures of her and her fiance similar to the Hanna Barbara animated "I Love Lucy" characters in various poses.

I chose the energy drink "Mother", marketed in Australia. I wouldn't say these are very design-y just very illustrative-y.

Storyboarding Class

This semester I'm taking a Storyboarding class with the famous Mark Michelon!! This is our second assignment: Storyboard a kid who wakes up frighten in the middle of the night then runs into his parents bedroom to find a surprise. The SURPRISE is the last panel.

My FINAL semester

My final semester has started!! Wait...WHAT? Wow, five years never felt so...evenly paced? It was nice living in this college bubble of having a schedule and having 3 day weekend after the first year. Soon I shall be in the adult world. Married and (hopefully) with a job. I want to make this one of the best well planned semesters.

My classes for this semester are: Storyboarding, Intro into Graphic Design, Special Studies, and Senior Program. Looks like this schedule will work out. I have enough time to devote to the completion of my student film. So, in December look out for "Silly" :D

First Test shot

Ha ha! The end of the summer has picked up speed again! I managed to complete a test of scene 01 from Silly. Take a look:

It's a small walk cycle where Debra walks through an angry crowd. Simple walk for now, must develop character's attitude soon.

I plan on animating my entire film in Toon Boom then compositing it in After Effects. My school's computers are an EXCELLENT resource. I could not do this with them.
